Hannah is the baker in our family. I come up with ideas and Hannah makes them come to life. We tweaked this recipe from AllRecipes.com, substituting boxed cake mix for the from-scratch version. It turned out fabulously.
This cake is super-moist, but the sweetness is not overwhelming. Overall, we rate it worth a repeat performance. We hope you enjoy our convenient twist on a traditional homespun cake.
